Reactivating and Deactivating a Promotion

Promotions are discounted offers and deals set up and managed in Guesty that can sync with the following booking channels (as presented in your dashboard):
  • Airbnb
  • Booking.com
  • Direct bookings
  • Expedia
When a promotion is created, its status will be "active" automatically. You can choose to deactivate the promotion itself at any time and reactivate it when needed. Additionally, you can deactivate a promotion for a listing if you no longer want the promotion to be applied to a specific listing and reactivate the promotion for a listing if you want it to be applied to the listing again. See the steps below.

Reactivating and deactivating a promotion

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, click Revenue management.
  3. In the menu to the left, click Promotions.
  4. Find the relevant promotion and click the three-dot menu at the right end of the row. You can use the filters above the list of promotions to narrow your search.
  5. If you want to reactivate/deactivate the promotion entirely:
    1. Click Reactivate promotion or Deactivate promotion and confirm this action in the pop-up.
  6. If you want to reactivate/deactivate the promotion on a listing:
    1. Click Activate/Deactivate listings. Click the toggle on or off next to each listing you want to activate or deactivate the promotion for. Select Activate promotion on all listings if this applies.
    2. Click Apply changes.
