To make sure that you have enough time to prepare your listing for the next guest, you can determine how much notice is needed from guests to make reservations ahead of check-in.
Please note the limitations certain booking channels enforce regarding advance notice, and follow the instructions below to set advance notice for your listings.
Advance notice creates a flexible block in the calendar, which means it can be overridden.
Before you begin
- Pre-approving a reservation will override advance notice. This means the guest will be able to confirm their reservation during the advance notice period that was set.
- Calendar dates under an advanced notice period won't be available for instant booking.
- Updates to advance notice will apply from midnight after the changes are made.
- If you wish to deactivate the advance notice settings, set the Advance Notice value to "None".
- The time zone is defined by the listing's location.
Booking channel limitations
-
Airbnb
Advance notice is calculated backward from 11:59 PM on the day the guest intends to check-in, in the time zone of the listing.
For example, if you set an advance notice for one day, guests will be able to make a reservation until 11:59 the day before.Note:
When you mark the Allow Airbnb guests to send reservation requests without advance notice (applies to Airbnb only) checkbox, the advance notice time that you've previously scheduled will be overridden, and guests will be able to send reservations — even if the time limit has already passed. -
Vrbo
Guests cannot make same day reservations on Vrbo, regardless of the advance notice setup in Guesty. -
Booking.com
For linked listings, you will need to create and activate a rate plan to set up same day notice. -
Expedia (Pro users)
Define same day bookings in your Expedia account after you finish the steps below. -
Booking Engine (Booking Website for Lite users)

Customizing cut-off hours to prevent same day bookings
Select Same day (customize cut-off hours) to prevent same day bookings. You will also need to select the latest hour in which guests can book on the day of check-in (i.e., the cut-off hour). The latest cut-off hour is 11 PM.
Same day notice can be synced only with the following channels: direct integrations, Airbnb, Expedia (Pro users), and Booking.com. For all other booking channels, choosing this option will create a one-day block before the check-in date on the listing's calendar.
Turning off Advance Notice
If you don't want an advance notice period, set "Advance Notice" to None (Default).
