Set a minimum age requirement to protect your property and comply with insurance policies. While the standard minimum age is 18, some properties require a higher age restriction, such as requiring the guest to be at least 25 years old to book or stay at the rental.
Follow the steps below to update the age requirement for your Vrbo listings.
Note:
For Airbnb and Booking.com listings, change the minimum age directly on the booking channel.
Step by Step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Vrbo channel thumbnail.
- Click the relevant account.

Select the relevant listing.
For a multi-unit, access the sub-unit's settings to update each sub-unit individually.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & Policies.
- Select Reservation policies.
- To the right of "House rules", click Edit.
- Under "Primary guest's minimum age", enter a new minimum age.
- The minimum allowed age is 18.
- At the top-right, click Save.
The listing updates on the booking channel within 24 hours.
