The age requirement for the primary guest making the reservation in Vrbo may vary depending on the location and the specific property. In general, the minimum age requirement is 18 years old. However, some properties may have higher age restrictions, such as requiring the guest to be at least 25 years old to book or stay at the rental.
Note:
This setting is only available for listings connected to Vrbo or accounts that use a full sync connection type.
Follow the steps below to change the minimum age.
Step by Step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click, the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Vrbo thumbnail.
- Click the relevant Vrbo account.
- Click the relevant listing:
- For a multi-unit, each sub-unit should be updated individually by accessing the sub-unit's settings.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & Policies.
- Select Reservation policies from the dropdown.
- In the "Additional rules" section on the right, click Edit.
- Enter a new minimum age.
- Click Save.
Step by Step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click Listings.
- Click the relevant listing.
- In the left-side menu, click Pricing & Policies.
- Select Reservation policies from the dropdown.
- In the "Additional rules" section on the right, click Edit.
- Enter a new minimum age.
- Click Save.
The updated minimum age will appear in Vrbo within 24 hours.
