When sending a message to a guest in the Guesty Inbox via Channel Inbox, HTML formatting is not supported. Therefore, file attachments such as images, PDFs, or Word/Excel documents cannot be sent in guest messages.
As a workaround, you can send attachments directly to the guest's private email from the Guesty Inbox. Follow these instructions to update the guest's primary email address.
- If the primary address is the proxy email provided by the booking channel, the message will be sent to the guest's inbox in the booking channel.
- If the primary address is the guest's private email, the message will be sent as a direct email.
