When a listing published to Vrbo is set to non-instant booking, booking requests will be received in Guesty as reservations with the status "Reserved".
You will have 24 hours to approve or decline the request, indicated by a clock counting down in the reservation page. After 23 hours and 50 minutes the request will be declined automatically by Guesty. If after 24 hours the request is still Pending, you must approve or decline it manually. Follow the instructions below to approve or decline the request.

The purpose of Guesty’s auto-decline feature is to maintain your listing's response rate. This is an important criteria that impacts your listings.
Step by Step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click, the icon drop-down menu and select Operations mode.
- Click Reservations.
- Click the relevant reservation.
- In the Summary section, click Approve or Decline.
The booking request status will change to "Confirmed" or "Declined", accordingly.
