Vrbo inquiry not showing in Guesty

The information in this article is relevant only for Guesty Lite users who started connecting Vrbo before 19 Feb 2024 and for Pro users.

Inquiry emails are communications with your guests regarding their booking. This can include questions about the property, booking details, and the check-in/check-out time.

Guests have the option to send you an inquiry by clicking "Contact host" in your Vrbo listing page. A reservation with the status "Inquiry" will be created in Guesty. There is no valid confirmation code associated with an Inquiry.

If you have enabled message sync between Vrbo and Guesty, you will be able to view and respond to inquiries from potential Vrbo guests in Guesty.

However, inquiries without specified dates will not be received in Guesty. You will be able to view and respond to these inquiries in Vrbo.
