Before you begin

Before starting to publish a listing, review the following essential points to ensure a smooth process.

  • Connect your Vrbo account: Ensure that your Vrbo account is successfully connected to Guesty. Listings can only be published after your Vrbo account is connected.
  • Listing creation: If you have existing listings only on Vrbo, you must create these listings within Guesty before publishing. This ensures all your properties are seamlessly managed within Guesty.
  • Listing status: Confirm that the listing in Guesty is in "Listed" status. This ensures that the listing is ready for publishing and synchronization with Vrbo.
  • Approval timeframe: Understand that Vrbo may take up to 72 hours to approve your listings. During this period, the status will display as "Pending" in Guesty.

  • Review Vrbo requirements: Read through the Checklist for Publishing Listings from Guesty to Vrbo and make any necessary changes before publishing to avoid errors or delays.
  • Multi-unit listings: Guesty's connection with Vrbo does not support multi-units. If your property is set up as a multi-unit in Guesty, you must publish each sub-unit as a separate listing on Vrbo to ensures accurate availability representation.
