Deleting a Vrbo account directly from the Guesty distribution page is not supported, due to a Vrbo limitation.
Once a Vrbo account is disconnected from Guesty, it automatically becomes inactive. While this doesn't remove the account entirely, it effectively removes its active status within Guesty's system.
While direct deletion isn't an option, a simple workaround to rename inactive accounts can provide clarity and organization within your Guesty dashboard. By renaming inactive integrations, you can easily distinguish them from active accounts, preventing confusion.
Rename an inactive Vrbo account
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click, the icon drop-down menu and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Locate and click the Vrbo thumbnail.
- Under the Vrbo thumbnail, select the relevant account.
- To the right of the relevant account, click .
- The account settings pop-up will appear.
- In the Account Nickname field, edit the text to "Inactive" or similar then click Save.
