Deleting a Vrbo account from Guesty

Due to a Vrbo limitation, deleting a Vrbo account from Guesty isn't supported. Instead, you can disconnect it to make it in inactive.

Important:

Disconnecting your Vrbo account is an irreversible action. Once the account is disconnected, it cannot be reconnected, and all data is erased.

To maintain an organized Guesty dashboard, rename your inactive account to easily distinguish it from an active account.

Once you have disconnected your Vrbo account, follow the instructions below to rename an inactive Vrbo account.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
  3. Click Distribution.
  4. Select the Vrbo thumbnail.
  5. To the right of the relevant account, click the Settings icon.
  6. The account settings pop-up will appear.
    In the "account nickname" field, enter a name to indicate the status is inactive, for example, "Inactive Vrbo Account", or "Vrbo Account (Inactive)".
  7. Click Save.
