If a reservation has been received with an invalid credit card, you can report it to Booking.com. Once reported, Booking.com will notify the guest that their credit card details should be updated.
More than 48 Hours Before Check-In
Once a credit card has been marked as invalid, the guest will be asked to update the credit card details within the next 24 hours. If the details are not updated, you can cancel the reservation.
24 to 48 Hours Before Check-In
Once a credit card has been marked as invalid, the guest will be asked to update the credit card details within the next 12 hours. If the details are not updated, you can cancel the reservation.
Same Day Reservations
- If the reservation was made before 3 pm.
- Once a credit card has been marked as invalid, the guest will be asked to update the credit card details by 3pm. If the details are not updated, you can cancel the reservation.
- If the reservation was made after 3 pm.
- Once a credit card has been marked as invalid, the guest will be asked to update the credit card details within 1 hour. If the details are not updated, you can cancel the reservation.
