The Team access auditor agent audits team member access and permissions, flagging any that appear incorrect to ensure users have appropriate access levels. The agent reads the users on your account, the roles assigned to them, and the properties each user is assigned to, then delivers a report of the access gaps and mismatches it found.
Limitations
- Read-only: The agent doesn't add, remove, suspend, or edit users, roles, or property assignments. All fixes must be made by you.
- Scope: The agent reviews users, roles, and property scope within your Guesty account. It doesn't review Guesty Admin access, API keys, or Owner and Guest portal access.
Understand the Team access auditor agent
The Team access auditor agent runs on the first of every month. It can also be run manually.
During each run, the agent does the following:
- Reads every user on the account, along with the roles assigned to each one.
- Reads the permission set behind each role in use on the account.
- Reads each user's property scope; which properties that user can see and act on.
- Compares this against your active properties to find access that looks wrong.
- Delivers a report naming each user and property involved, with direct links to the user records so you can go straight to the fix.
