The Additional Fees Review agent automatically helps you get one clear picture of every additional fee across your account and your listings—what's set up, what each fee costs, what it applies to, and which sales channels it syncs to. It provides a comprehensive audit to help you identify missing fees, verify channel sync settings, and eliminate potential revenue gaps.
The Additional fees review agent is a read-only reporting tool and does NOT make changes to your fees or settings. Unlisted and inactive properties are skipped during the review.
Limitations
Keep the following in mind before using the Additional Fees Review agent:
- Scope: Only active, listed properties are reviewed. Inactive or unlisted properties are not included.
- Read-only: The agent cannot adjust, add, or delete fees directly. Any required updates must be made manually in your account or listing settings.
- Execution time: On accounts with many properties, the review may take longer to complete as it checks each property using individual fee settings separately.
Understanding the agent
The Additional Fees Review agent runs on demand. You can trigger it manually whenever you want a fresh snapshot of your account and listing fees.
During each run, the agent does the following:
- Scans all active, listed properties in your account.
- Reads your current account-level and property-level fee configurations.
- Identifies channel sync statuses and properties missing fee setups.
- Delivers a structured summary report in your activity feed.
Note:
Whether a listing uses account-level fees or property-specific fees depends strictly on that listing's "Use account additional fees" setting. If a listing is set to use its own fees but none are configured, account-level fees will not apply as a fallback.

Follow the steps below to review your activity feed.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Agents hub. - In the left submenu, select Agent activity.
- Click the relevant row with the agent's name to review the report details in the right-side panel.
Understand the report status and details
After each run, you can find the report in your activity feed. The report will have one of the following statuses:
- Done: The agent successfully scanned all active properties and generated the report.
- Action needed: The agent detected properties set to custom fees with no fees configured, or properties that could not be evaluated during the run.
The report groups your active, listed properties into the following sections:
- Account-level fees: Lists fees configured at the account level alongside properties inheriting them. Displays amount (value or %), scope (e.g., accommodation fare, cleaning fee), basis (per night, per stay, per guest), and channel sync status.
- Listings with their own additional fees: Displays properties set to use property-specific fees along with configured fee details and channel sync information.
- Listings with no fees applying: Displays properties set to use their own fees that have no fees configured. These represent potential revenue gaps.
- Could not determine: Displays properties that could not be evaluated during the run due to temporary system limits. Re-running the agent is recommended to evaluate these properties.
Review and act on fee discrepancies
Since the Additional fees review agent is a reporting tool, you will need to manually adjust any configurations that require updates in your account or listing settings.
- Review listings under Listings with no fees applying to ensure that omitting fees is intentional and not an uncaptured revenue risk.
- Check the Synced to fields. If a fee is labeled Not synced (manual / Guesty only), verify whether it needs to be connected to your active sales channels (such as Airbnb or Booking.com).
