Airbnb uses a grouped listings model to connect multiple listings under one parent property. This structure lets you manage shared details easily while keeping individual rooms bookable. Read this guide to learn how properties and listings sync through Guesty.

Understand properties and listings

A parent property acts as a container for shared content and can't accept bookings directly. Only the individual listings organized under that parent property accept guest bookings.

Manage grouped listings

Airbnb automatically migrates selected listings to the grouped listings format in supported regions. Airbnb sends additional information to affected hosts. No action is required from Guesty or the host for the migration itself.

Keep the following points in mind when managing your grouped listings:

  • Airbnb provisions all parent properties directly, so you can't create or delete parent properties through Guesty.
  • Editing and saving a field in Guesty automatically syncs changes to Airbnb. Guesty updates only the specific field you change at either the property or listing level.

Note:

Airbnb doesn't sync updates from Guesty for some grouped listing's property-level content and photos. Manage the grouped listing's name, descriptions and photos directly on Airbnb.
