By configuring sorting options, you can define how search results appear, set a default sorting option, increase your revenue, and customize property relevancy to align with your business goals.
This configuration is optional. Your existing search result behavior will remain unchanged unless you actively update these settings.
Follow the steps below to configure search result sorting options for your guests.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu. - Under Channel management, select Distribution.
- Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
- Click
next to the relevant Booking engine, and select Edit booking engine.
- Select Booking settings from the left submenu.
- Under the “Sorting configuration” section, toggle on Enable sorting for guests.
- Next to "Select an option" click the dropdown menu.

Check the relevant boxes to select the sorting options you want to apply to your Booking Engine.
- Check the Select all 6 box to enable all the options.
- If you check more than one option, click the dropdown arrow under “Select Default sorting option” to prioritize the default sorting option.

If you select Relevancy, click Configure relevancy sorting order and select the relevance sorting order:
- Default order: Listings will appear in the standard order.

Custom order:
- Click Download template.
- Open the downloaded CSV template your tool of choice.
- Under the column "NICKNAME", add the relevant listings by nickname in the required order. Ensure your changes are saved.
- Click Upload CSV file, select the relevant CSV file(s) and click Upload.
- Click Continue.
- Click Next.
- In the left sub menu, click Languages to navigate to the last action.
- Click Save Booking Engine to apply your changes.
