Pilot: Understanding promotion badges in the Guesty Booking Engine

Promotional badges and tooltips that appear in your Guesty Booking Engine help guests understand why they're receiving a discounted rate, improving trust and increasing conversions.

This is a visual update to the Booking Engine, and no action is required on your part to enable it.

How promotions are displayed to guests

When a promotion is active for one of your properties, guests will see the following on the search results, property page, and at checkout:

  • The original price with a strikethrough
  • The new, discounted price
  • A standardized promotion badge explaining the deal

When a guest hovers over the badge on a desktop computer or taps it on a mobile device, a tooltip appears with more information about the discount.

The following promotion badges and tooltip text may appear to your guests:

Only one promotion badge is displayed per property, even if multiple promotions apply. Learn more about  how promotions apply.
