Pilot: Setting up and managing Premium Coverage

The Premium Coverage package combines liability and damage protection in one bundled plan. As part of Guesty Shield, it provides coverage for our US customers.

A property can be associated with one plan at a time.

Set up Premium Coverage

Follow the steps below to activate your plan and select the properties you want to cover.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click the Integrations icon Integrations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Guesty add-ons.
  4. Click the "Premium Coverage" thumbnail.
  5. Choose a plan, select either Per night or Per stay.
  6. Click Next.
  7. To protect your linen from accidental damage, toggle on Add extend linen coverage.
  8. Select the properties to include. You can search for a specific property or filter the list. If you select all properties, future properties are automatically included.

    • All: Applies to all existing and future properties. Click Exclude properties to remove specific properties.
    • By rule: Applies to reservations at all existing and future properties matching a selected city or tag.
    • Specific: Applies only to selected properties. Click Select properties to include.
  9. Uncheck the Include current booked reservations checkbox if needed.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Review the summary to confirm your selected plan and included properties.
  12. Accept the terms and click Confirm.

Manage your coverage

Once activated, navigate the management page tabs to review your coverage details. Follow the steps below to manage your Premium Coverage plan, covered properties, covered reservations, and claims.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click the Integrations icon Integrations to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Select Guesty add-ons.
  4. In the Premium Coverage thumbnail, click Open.
  5. In the left submenu, select the relevant tab:
    • Click the Plans tab to view and edit existing plans, add new ones, or set up fees.
    • Click the Properties tab to view and filter insured properties.
    • Click the Reservations tab to view reservation-level coverage and claims context.
    • Click the Claims tab to view claim statuses, such as "Pending", "Completed", or "Withdrawn".
