Cancellation windows

The time frame for receiving a full refund depends on the length of the stay and the specific property type. All cancellations must be submitted before 4 PM EST on the deadline day.

  • Standard stays:
    • Stays of 14 nights or fewer: Cancel at least 14 days before check-in to receive a full refund.
    • Stays of 15 nights or more: Cancel at least 60 days before check-in to receive a full refund.
  • Designated special properties: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in to receive a full refund.

If the reservation is cancelled after the cancellation window has closed, Wander initiates the Fair-Refund Policy to help you recover costs.

Once a cancellation is confirmed outside the standard window, Wander relists the dates on the platform. You receive a refund for any nights that are successfully rebooked by another guest. The refund amount for those nights is calculated based on the lower of the original rate or the new rebooking rate. Nights that don't rebook remains non-refundable.


Additional Terms:

  • 24-hour risk-free cancellation

    All bookings qualify for a 24-hour risk-free cancellation period, provided the booking is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled check-in time.

  • Policy match guarantee

    Wander offers a Policy match guarantee. If a more flexible cancellation policy is available for the same property on Airbnb or the owner's direct website, Wander matches that policy.
