Due to the common occurrence of wildfires in Los Angeles, Airbnb has placed a restriction on how much you can raise prices for listings located there.
You can only increase your rates by up to 10% at a time. If you try to raise prices by more than 10% in a single update, the sync with Airbnb will fail, and no changes will be made.
To avoid sync issues:
- Increase your prices gradually, in increments of less than 10%.
- Wait at least 24 hours between each price update.
This helps to ensure your updates are accepted and synced correctly with Airbnb.

Example:
You want to raise your nightly rate from $100 to $200. Since Airbnb only allows up to a 10% increase per update, increase your price incrementally.
- Week one
- Monday: Increase to $109
- Wednesday: Increase to $120
- Friday: Increase to $132
- Sunday: Increase to $145
- Week two
- Tuesday: Increase to $159
- Thursday: Increase to $174
- Saturday: Increase to $191
- Week three
Our example ensures that the prices increases in increments of less that 10% with more than 24 hours between price increases.
