Pilot: Setting a minimum PMC commission amount in your business model

Follow the steps below to set a minimum PMC commission amount in a new or existing business model. See full details on creating a business model.

By setting a minimum commission, you can ensure that you don’t make under a certain amount per reservation. If the percentage commission is more than the minimum you will receive the higher amount.

For example:

  • Net rental income: $1,000
  • Commission percentage (15%): $150
  • Minimum commission: $200
  • Your commission will be $200 based on the minimum set amount, instead of $150 based on the percentage calculation.

If the net rental income is adjusted due to a reservation change, the minimum commission amount setting will be checked again, and the commission updated if needed.

Important:

The minimum commission fixed amount is based on your account default currency and can’t be changed to a different currency.

In order to apply the minimum commission retroactively you must reprocess existing reservations.
