Managing the cookies banner in the Guesty Booking Engine

Remove the cookies banner

Follow the steps to remove the cookies banner from the Guesty Booking Engine.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Channel management, select Distribution.
  4. Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
  5. Click icon next to the relevant Booking Engine.
  6. In the side navigation menu, click Web analytics.
  7. Clear the "Facebook Pixel ID" field.

    By clearing this field, you will disable the cookies banner from appearing on your Booking Engine. Web analytics settings

  8. Click Next.
  9. Click Save Booking Engine.

Hide the cookies banner

Follow the step below to hide the cookies banner while keeping the Facebook Pixel ID.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the side navigation menu, click icon Marketing and sales to open the dropdown menu.
  3. Under Channel management, select Distribution.
  4. Click the Guesty Booking Engine thumbnail.
  5. Click icon next to the relevant Booking Engine, and select Edit Booking Engine.
  6. In the side navigation menu, click General settings and scroll down to Custom code snippet, then click Advanced.
  7. Toggle on Turn on custom code snippet. Custom code snippet toggle
  8. Copy and paste the custom code below into the text field:

  9. In the side navigation menu, click Languages to navigate to the last action.
  10. Click Save Booking Engine.
