What parts of my basic website can i edit?

The Basic Website plan is designed to give you an intuitive and streamlined editing experience. Below, you’ll find what you can and cannot customize, so you can easily update your site’s content while preserving its overall look and functionality.

What you can edit

  • Titles & Headings: You can change the text of titles and headings to match your branding or reflect updates to your offerings.
  • Descriptions & Paragraph Text: Update body text, descriptions, and any informational paragraphs to ensure visitors always see up-to-date details.
  • Images: Swap out images (hero banners, product photos, etc.) to keep visuals engaging and relevant without altering page layout.
  • Links & Buttons: Change link destinations or button text to lead your visitors to new content, external sites, or updated resources.
  • Some Styling Elements: With the Basic Website, you may have access to limited styling options such as basic color or font changes to help you stay on-brand.

Tip:

When editing, stick to concise copy and high-quality images for best results. Check recommended image sizes if available.

What you cannot edit

  • More Pages: The Basic Website plan provides only a single page website to edit. If you want to have more pages, consider upgrading to the Advanced Website plan.
  • Section Names: Section or block titles, like “About Us,” “Amenities,” or “Contact,” are fixed to maintain site consistency and navigation clarity.
  • Main Layout & Structure: You won’t be able to add new sections, remove entire sections, or rearrange the main site structure. This ensures the site’s design remains professional and responsive.
  • Advanced Design Settings: Custom code, CSS, and in-depth design parameters (like spacing or advanced animation) are locked for simplicity and to avoid accidental layout issues.
  • Global Themes & Navigation: Overall theme settings and navigation menus such as the main header menu are restricted to protect the site’s branding and functionality.
