The balance sheet report provides a snapshot of what is owned (assets) and what is owed (liabilities). Generate a balance sheet report to determine if your trust account is in balance and to see the breakdown by ledger of assets:

  • Verify that assets equal liabilities.
  • Check for negative ledger balances. This indicates that you are commingling funds and this should be corrected as soon as possible.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Accounting mode.
  3. Click General ledger, then select Preconfigured reports.
  4. In the left-side menu, click Balances.
  5. Select the balance date, then click Export as PDF.
