Set up your business models and activate Accounting to start using accounting reports.
The balance sheet report provides a snapshot of what is owned (assets) and what is owed (liabilities). Generate a balance sheet report to determine if your trust account is in balance and to see the breakdown by ledger of assets:
- Verify that assets equal liabilities.
- Check for negative ledger balances. This indicates that you are commingling funds and this should be corrected as soon as possible.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the side navigation menu, click
Accounting to open the dropdown menu. - Under General ledger, select Preconfigured reports.
- In the left-side menu, click Balances.
- In the right side panel, under "Balance sheet", select the balance date.
- Click Export as PDF.
