Widgets are the main building blocks of your site that shape both your site's functionality and design. Use different widgets to create an engaging and dynamic user experience for your visitors.
Add a widget
Find all available widgets in the widget library. Widgets are organized by category. Use the search bar at the top to locate what you need quickly.
Follow the instructions to access the widget library in your Guesty Advanced Website from Guesty and add a widget to your site.
Add a widget from the side panel
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Growth mode.
- Click Distribution.
- Click the Guesty Websites thumbnail.
- To the right of the relevant website, click Edit.
- In the side panel, click Widgets.
- Use the search bar or browse through the widget categories.
- Click and drag the desired widget to the relevant location on your site. A blue placement indicator will appear. Drop the widget once the placement indicator is where you want it. Select the widget and drag it into position to change the location of the widget at any time.
Add a widget from the context menu
Step by step:
- Right-click any widget and select Add widget below in the context menu to add widgets immediately below the current widget.
- If you are right-clicking on a column, click + Add, and select Add widget below.
- Select from the four most popular widgets or click More widgets to open the full menu. After adding the widget, you can edit it as usual.

What is the difference between apps and custom widgets?
Custom widgets are built with the widget builder. Apps are created by App Partners and meet strict Guesty standards with a thorough QA process.
