Filtering tasks by schedule

Filter tasks by their scheduled times, including both specific and flexible timeframes. This guide explains how to apply schedule filters in Guesty to create custom task views.

Note:

The mobile app mirrors the schedule filters from the "Today's tasks" reports in the desktop version of the Guesty dashboard. You can view task reports such as "Today" and "Upcoming" in the app, but editing the filters can only be done on the desktop.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. From the top navigation bar, select Operations mode.
  3. Click Field operations and select Tasks.
  4. Click the existing filters at the top left corner of the screen to edit them, or click the + button to add new filters.

    Filter options:

    • Scheduled for: Includes both specific and flexible timeframes. Tasks appear if their "can start from" and "must finish before" values fall within the selected filter range.
    • Can start after or Must finish before: Excludes tasks with specific time schedules. Use this option to display tasks with flexible time schedules.
    • Additional filters: You can also filter tasks by other criteria, such as task type, reservation check-in or check-out times, and assigned users. These options help you create a custom task view that fits your operational needs.
  5. After applying your filters, click Save to update the current view or Save as to save the filter settings as a new view.
