Effortlessly unlock any supported door with just a click in the Guesty Locks Manager interface. The new button "Unlock Door" can be reached by accessing the guest code in a reservation or on the lock info page.
Important:
Only Account Admins have access the remote unlock feature.
Follow the steps below.
Remotely unlock and re-lock a door
From within a reservation
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- Access the relevant reservation with the door to unlock via Reservations, the Inbox, or Calendar.
- In the Widget sidebar on the far right, click
- Under "Locks", click the Unlock button. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- When ready to lock the door again, click the button that now says Lock.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- Access the relevant reservation with the door to unlock via the Inbox or Calendar.

- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Field operations and select Locks manager.
- In the Locks page on the “Linked” tab, click on the relevant lock.
- At the top right, click the Unlock button. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- When ready to lock the door again, click the button that now says Lock.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click and select Guesty Locks Manager.
- In the Locks page on the “Linked” tab, click on the relevant lock.
- At the top right, click the Unlock button. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
