Effortlessly unlock any supported door with just a click in Guesty Locks Manager. The "Unlock door" button can be reached by accessing the guest code in a reservation or on the lock page.
Important:
Only account admins can used the remote unlock feature.
Follow the steps below to remotely unlock and re-lock a door.
From within a reservation
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- Access the relevant reservation with the door to unlock via the reservation, the Inbox, or the Multi-Calendar.
- In the right sidebar, click
- Under "Locks", locate the relevant lock and click Unlock door. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- To lock the door again, click Lock door.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- Access the relevant reservation with the door to unlock via the Inbox or the Multi-Calendar.
- In the right sidebar, click
- Under "Locks", locate the relevant lock and click Unlock door. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- To lock the door again, click Lock door.
From the lock page
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Field operations and select Locks manager.
- In the “Locks” page top bar, click Linked.
- Click on the relevant lock.
- At the top right, click Unlock door. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- When ready to lock the door again, click Lock door.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click and select Guesty Locks Manager.
- In the “Locks” page top bar, click Linked.
- Click on the relevant lock.
- At the top right, click Unlock door. Allow several seconds for the process to complete.
- When ready to lock the door again, click Lock door.
