Pilot: Viewing details and documents entered by a guest in a check-in form

You can create a check-in form and send it to guests before they arrive to gather useful information about them and their stay and to allow them to upload their passport or driver's license, for example.

After the guest fills out the form, the details they entered and documents they uploaded will automatically appear in different parts of your dashboard, such as the guest section of the reservation page or the guest widget in the inbox. Follow the instructions below based on your current needs.

Reservation page

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Guest experience mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Find and click the relevant reservation (filters above the table to the left and columns to the right can help you search).
  5. Look for "Documents" in the "Guest" section.

Contact page

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Guest experience mode.
  3. Click Contacts.
  4. Find and click the relevant guest (filters above the table to the left and columns to the right can help you search).
  5. In the left menu, click Contact profile and find the "Documents" section.

Inbox widgets

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the Inbox icon.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Guests inbox.
  4. Under "All conversations", find and click the relevant guest conversation.
  5. To the right, click to open the guest widget and find the "Documents" section.

Multi-calendar widgets

Step by step:
  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, clickthe Multi-calendar icon.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Guests inbox.
  4. Find and click the relevant reservation (you can search by listing or use the filters above the table to the left).
  5. To the right, click to open the guest widget and find the "Documents" section.
