Pilot: Removing attachments from a completed check-in form

You can create a check-in form and send it to guests before they arrive to gather useful information about them and their stay and to allow them to upload their passport or driver's license, for example. 

You can delete documents that were uploaded to the form if the guest asks you to, for example. If you are already in the inbox, you can delete the file right there. Otherwise, it is very easy to do from any place in the dashboard where the document is. Follow the instructions below based on your current needs.

Reservation page

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Guest experience mode.
  3. Click Reservations.
  4. Find and click the relevant reservation (filters above the table to the left and columns to the right can help you search).
  5. Find the "Documents" in the "Guest" section.
  6. Hover over "Documents" and click Edit to the right.
  7. Find the file(s) you want to remove and click the Trash Can icon to the right.
  8. Scroll down and click Save.

Contact page

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Guest experience mode.
  3. Click Contacts.
  4. Find and click the relevant guest (filters above the table to the left and columns to the right can help you search).
  5. In the left menu, click Contact profile and find the "Documents" section.
  6. Hover over "Documents" and click Edit to the right.
  7. Find the file(s) you want to remove and click the Trash Can icon to the right.
  8. Click Save at the top of the "Documents" section.

Inbox widgets

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the Inbox icon.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Guests inbox.
  4. Under "All conversations", find and click the relevant guest conversation.
  5. To the right, click to open the guest widget and find the "Documents" section.
  6. Hover over "Documents" and click Edit to the right.
  7. Find the file(s) you want to remove and click the Trash Can icon to the right.
  8. Scroll down and click Save.

Multi-calendar widgets

Step by step:
  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, clickthe Multi-calendar icon.
  3. In the left sidebar, select Guests inbox.
  4. Find and click the relevant reservation (you can search by listing or use the filters above the table to the left).
  5. To the right, click to open the guest widget and find the "Documents" section.
  6. Hover over "Documents" and click Edit to the right.
  7. Find the file(s) you want to remove and click the Trash Can icon to the right.
  8. Scroll down and click Save.
