When you create a user in Guesty you can add them to a group. This will help you streamline task assignments to many users at once, for example. You can add the user to an existing group or create a new group and add them on the spot, but you cannot change the name of an existing group.
For example, if you realize that the "Cleaners" group should actually be "Texas cleaners" we recommend the following solution.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Setup mode.
- Click User management.
- Select a user that should be in the "Texas cleaners" group.
- Under "Groups" click x next to "Cleaners" to remove the user from that group.
- Type in "Texas cleaners" in full and click the name in the dropdown menu to save the new group.
- Click Save changes.
- Go back to the user management page.
- One by one, move all relevant users to the "Texas cleaners" group:
- Select the user you want to move.
- Click x next to "Cleaners" to remove the user from that group.
- Start typing in "Texas cleaners" and click the name when it appears in the dropdown menu.
- Click Save changes.
