Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
  4. Search for Check-in Scan, then click Connect.
  5. At the top right click Connect.
  6. In the pop-up, copy the Integration API.
  7. Click OK.

Connect Check-in Scan with Guesty

Step by step:

  1. Access your account.
  2. On the top right corner, click My account > PMS integration.

  3. Click Guesty's icon.

  4. Paste the API token copied above. Then, click Next.

  5. You can import your listings from Guesty to Check-in Scan, or map your existing Check-in Scan listings with your Guesty listings. Once done, click Finalize.

  6. Click Properties > My properties, then activate your imported properties (if applicable). Also, you can edit any missing field.

  7. In Guesty, add the following Check-in Scan created variable to your automated Workflows:

    • Use checkinscan_info_collected as a condition to send messages. This field will be updated whenever a guest completes the registration form.

    • Add checkinscan_link to your messages in order to send the registration form link to your guests.
