Welcome to your Guesty Lite account! This article will walk you through the steps needed to successfully set up your account.

Start by connecting your Guesty account to your Airbnb account. Airbnb is the starting point for new entrepreneurs and property owners, and has the most streamlined process for creating a listing, making the connection between Guesty and Airbnb simple and essential to managing your listings.

After importing your listings from Airbnb, they will be ready to easily connect with other online travel agencies (OTAs) and/or direct websites.

Step 1: Connecting your channels

  1. Connect to Airbnb and import your listings.

    Important:

Connecting to a property management system may impact your Airbnb service fee. Check Airbnb's policy for details about how this will affect your listings.

Once you’ve connected your Airbnb account, your settings will need to be managed from within your Guesty account as detailed in this article. Check the Multi-Calendar to see your listing, and that any reservations have been properly imported.

  2. If you also have a Vrbo account, connect it at this time.

    Tip:

Learn where to manage your Vrbo listings, reservations, and guest communication.

Once connected, check the Multi-Calendar to see that your listings and reservations have been properly imported.

  3. To connect Booking.com, first read these preparation instructions.
  4. Connect Booking.com to your Guesty Lite account.

    Tip:

Learn where to manage your Booking.com listings, reservations, and guest communication

Again, check the Multi-Calendar to see that your content and reservations have been properly imported.

  5. In your Multi-Calendar, add manual blocks as needed.
  6. At this point, we also recommend that you build your own Guesty website to allow guests to browse your available listings and book their reservations directly through Guesty.

Congratulations! You have successfully set up your channel management in Guesty. All new reservations from these channels will automatically sync to your Guesty Multi-Calendar to allow you to manage your operations in one place.

Step 2: Setting up your business operations

  1. Now it’s time to create your reservation automations to effectively manage the communication with your guests throughout each reservation and stay.
  2. We also recommend creating Saved Replies to respond to frequently asked guest questions.
  3. Define your Auto Response setup to ensure that your Airbnb guests will receive a prompt reply when they message you.

Great! Your communication automations are completed. Let’s check out your Inbox. Practice sending a Saved Reply to one of your guests.

Next, let’s create tasks to ensure that operations run smoothly at your properties.

  1. Auto Tasks are actions for which scheduling is based on the reservation life-cycle, such as cleaning the property 12 hours after checkout. Auto Tasks setup is a two-part process. Start by creating a task template
  2. Next, set up the scheduling of Auto Tasks.
  3. You can also create calendar-based tasks for actions that are not based on the reservation life-cycle, such as changing the air conditioner filter every 6 months.

Are you using pricing tools? You can now connect them to your Guesty account. Use these instructions to connect PriceLabs or Beyond. Not using these tools? We invite you to activate Guesty PriceOptimizer instead.

Finally, it’s time to configure your Auto Reviews. Automate the process of leaving guest reviews for your Airbnb reservations by allowing Guesty to post them on your behalf.

You’re done: You’re now ready to host guests the Guesty way!
