Where should I manage my Trip.com listings, reservations and guest communication?

See below where to set and/or manage your Trip.com's listings, reservations, guest communication, and tools.

We recommend that all actions be managed via Guesty unless otherwise indicated.

Note:

If mentioned to manage a certain action in Guesty, any updates will be synced with the channel.

Trip.com can be the merchant on record. If choosing this option, Trip.com will collect the guests' payments. It will retain a percentage of booking fees and remit the remaining total to the host.

Another option is to collect the guests' credit card details via Guesty. After the guest enters their credit card details, they'll be saved in the payment service provider (Stripe). The funds are held until the day of check-in and then released to the host via their connected Stripe account.

Messages initiated by guests via the channel's messaging tools won't be synced into the Guesty Inbox, including the following:
Emails, comments, special requests, inquiries for reservations, requests to book
