In Whimstay Whimstay collects the guest payments (as the merchant of record) but you won’t see an indication in Guesty if the reservation was paid. The payments don't pass through Guesty, nor does Whimstay send a webhook to Guesty regarding the payment. Learn how to record a payment collected outside of Guesty. |
Manage promotions |
In Whimstay Whimstay offers its own promotions, allowing guests to pay less while Whimstay covers the promotional pricing so the host revenue is not affected. Therefore you may see that your listing pricing appears lower on guest-facing platforms. |
