Getting started with payment automations

Our payment automations are currently available to Lite users. In the top navigation bar, click Automation. If you do not see "Payments" in the left menu, please find the information you need in our Guest Payments Help Center category instead. 

Payment automations allow you to schedule payments so that they are received without the hassle of manually collecting them yourself time and time again - they are added to reservations as they are created.

For your convenience, and to make sure no payments are left unaccounted for, we have set up a payment automation to handle all of your reservations. It is a "100% collect on confirmation" automation, which means that for all reservations, on all listings, and from all booking channels, the entire payout will be collected when the reservation is confirmed.

Follow the instructions below to see and review your payment automation, and you can follow these instructions to connect to Stripe, which will allow you to process payments in Guesty.

Important:

Payment automations will not apply to reservations with a virtual credit card as the payment method, or to reservations from Airbnb, Misterb&b, Rentals United, or Booking.com properties that use “Payments by booking.com”. We recommend handling payment for these reservations manually.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click Automations and select Payment automations.
  3. In the left menu, make sure "Reservation automations" is open, and select Payments.
  4. You can click the arrow at the right end of the row to see more details.
