Getting started with Payment automations

Payment automations allow you to schedule payments so that they are received without the hassle of manually collecting them yourself time and time again - they are added to reservations as they are created.

For your convenience, and to make sure no payments are left unaccounted for, we have set up a payment automation to handle all of your reservations. It is a "100% collect on confirmation" automation, which means that for all reservations, on all listings, and from all booking channels, the entire payout will be collected when the reservation is confirmed.

Important:

Payment automations will not apply to reservations with a virtual credit card as the payment method.

Payment automations are not supported for the following channels: Airbnb, Payments by booking.com, Misterb&b, TripAdvisor, Plumguide, TravelStaytion, GlampingHub, Whimstay, Marriott, Holidu.
Payment rules for these channels are configured directly on the channel platform.

Follow the instructions below to see and review your payment automation, and you can follow these instructions to connect to Stripe, which will allow you to process payments in Guesty.

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click Messaging.
  3. From the dropdown, select Automated messages.
  4. On the left menu, under Reservation automations, select Payments.

Payment automations (toggle) cannot be disabled or customized for Lite users.
