Guesty Locks Manager: Deactivating and creating a new guest code

For each lock, the current guest code can be deactivated and a new randomly generated code created. This can be used to quickly solve security issues at the property, when the guest password secrecy is compromised, or to prevent a problematic guest from returning.

Follow the steps below.

Step by step

  1. Ensure the lock is online with a stable internet connection.
  2. Navigate to the lock page in the relevant reservation.
  3. Next to the “Guest Code”, click on the refresh button.
  4. On “Replace guest code?” pop up, click “Yes”.
  5. Wait a few minutes and refresh the page to see the new code.
