Setting up a welcome message for Airbnb instant booking

You can create and send a short, automated message to guests once they have made an instant booking reservation from Airbnb.

Use the welcome message to let guests know when they can expect additional information from you, including information about their stay or anything else you want to share.

The welcome message is visible to the guest on Airbnb on the "Confirm reservation" page, under the "Required for your trip" section. If you already have a welcome message in Airbnb, it will be pulled to Guesty when importing the listing.

The message should be 10-200 characters long and must follow Airbnb's Content policy.

Also, avoid adding the following content to the message:

  • Email addresses
  • Website links
  • Phone numbers
  • Emojis and symbols
  • Abbreviations (Mr, Ms)
  • Repetitive special characters
  • All-capitalized words (such as "CC").
  • Two words (or more) connected with a dot will be considered a website address and will cause an error to appear. I.e., [word].[word]. To solve it, add a space after the dot: [word]. [word].
