Create an Airbnb welcome message to send a short, automated message to guests once they have made an Instant Book reservation.
Before you begin
Below is some important information to note about Airbnb welcome messages:
- Use the welcome message to let guests know when they can expect additional information from you
This includes information about about their stay or anything else you would like to share. - The message should be 10-200 characters long and must follow Airbnb's Content Policy
- If you already have a welcome message in Airbnb, it will be imported with your listing
You can follow the steps below to edit the message at any time.
Creating or editing an Airbnb listing welcome message
Follow the instructions below to create a welcome message or edit an existing one.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click the mode selector and select Operations mode.
- Click Properties.
- Click the relevant listing.
- In the listing's menu, click Marketing.
- Scroll down to "Check-in instructions and key collection".
- Under "Welcome message (optional)", create or edit the message (between 10 and 200 characters long).
- Click Save.
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click

- Click Pricing & Policies.
- From the drop-down menu, click Reservation policies.
- Scroll down to the "Booking options" section, and click Edit.
- Under "Welcome message (optional)", create or edit the message (between 10 and 200 characters long).
- Click Save.
