You can use promotions on Airbnb to increase your immediate bookings, encourage your past guests to return, and even attract new audiences. You can easily set promotions to your Airbnb listings via Guesty. In several cases, multiple discounts can be applied to the same Airbnb reservation.

Multiple Promotions
Promotions of the same type
- In case multiple promotions of the same type are applied to the same reservation for the same dates (including the overlapping part of somewhat overlapping dates), the latest promotion being applied will override the former promotions that were set for the same dates. This is because promotions of the same type won't “stack” on each other.
- In case multiple promotions are applied for the same reservation for different dates, each discount will be applied to its related dates.

Promotions of different types
- When promotions of different types are applied to the same reservation and for the same dates (including the overlapping part of somewhat overlapping dates), the following will occur:
- In case a New Listing Promotion has been applied for the listing, it may be combined with another applicable discount for the same listing.
- If a custom promotion has been applied, it may be combined with Length of Stay or Early Bird or Last Minute (only one of the three, based on the logic below).
- In all other cases, only one type of promotion will be applied:
- Length of Stay will override Early Bird/Last Minute.
- Early Bird and Last Minute cannot be applied together, as Early Bird can only be set for 30 days or more before check-in, and Last Minute can only start up to 28 days before check-in.

Changing the promotions after applying
When having multiple promotions, the effect of making changes to an existing promotion depends on whether you are changing the promotion's dates; only change in dates is pushed to Airbnb. If you are changing the dates, the updated promotion is overrunning any other promotions (from a different type or the same type). This is based on the following logic.
Changing the discount amount but not the dates
In case you changed the discount amount for an applied promotion, but didn't change the related promotion's dates, the discount change will not overrun other promotions being set for the same dates (see the applied discounts for 08/02-08/03 in the example below). The discount change will be applied to dates that only had that original promotion applied (see the applied discount for the 08/01 in the example below).

Changing the discount amount and the dates
In case you change the discount amount for a promotion and change the promotion's dates, the discount change will overrun other promotions being set for overlapping dates. The discount change will also be applied to dates that only had the original promotion applied (see the example below).
