How can I edit listings' content?

All edits must be made in Guesty.

Can multi-units, sub-units, and complexes be synced?

At the moment, only single listings and multi-units are synced.

Can discounts and promotions be synced?

Yes. Weekly and monthly discounts as well as promotions and rate plans applicable to Guesty Booking Engine.

Can I set cancellation policies in Guesty?

Yes, all cancellation policies must be configured in your rate plan settings. Learn more.

Does Guesty support Google Hotels?

No. Google Vacation Rentals is a dedicated site solely for short-term rental accommodations. To show on Vacation Rentals on Google, you must be a registered property management business with a direct booking website or be listed on a booking site that’s integrated with Vacation Rentals on Google. Guesty connects your listings to Google Vacation Rentals via direct booking integration.

What if I add/remove listings to/from a Booking Engine connected to Google?

Any listings added to or removed from a Booking Engine that is connected to Google will be automatically added to or removed from the Google integration as well.

What if my Google listings are published to more than one Booking Engine?

Listings published to more than one Booking Engine/Booking Engine API will be prioritized according to the following:

  • If both Booking Engines were not published to Google at the same time, the one that was published first will take precedence.

  • If a listing is published to both a Booking Engine and a Booking Engine API, the Booking Engine will take precedence.

  • The Booking Engine or Booking Engine API with an earlier creation date will take precedence.

To view which landing page was sent to Google:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top menu, hover over Integrations.
  3. From the drop-down, select Distribution.
  4. Click the Google thumbnail.
  5. On your Google Vacation Rentals dashboard under "Connected Booking Engine", you can view the link to the landing page that was sent to Google.

How can I disconnect a Booking Engine/Booking Engine API from Google?

Contact us to disconnect a Booking Engine/ Booking Engine API that was previously connected to Google.

How can I track reservations coming in from Google?

Reservations coming from Google will be counted as direct reservations in Guesty.

How can I control my pricing data on Google Vacation Rentals?

Any markups, promotions, fees, or taxes applied to your Booking Engine or Booking Engine API will apply to your Google Vacation Rentals integration, too.

How can I tell if my listings are live on Google?

Please allow up to three weeks after publishing your listings for them to become live on Google. After three weeks, follow the instructions below to search for your listings on Google.

  1. In your browser, navigate to Google Travel.
  2. Click Vacation rentals.
  3. Use the search bar to search for the city/neighborhood/ area in which your listing is located.
  4. Use the map to zoom in on the property’s location.
  5. If you are not able to find the listing, contact us.
