Adding a URL link (hyperlink) to an Automated Message

In Guesty, automated messages are added to a workflow.
Follow the instructions below to add a Link URL to an automated message.

Step by step:

Beta navigation users, please note that the steps below refer to the navigation as seen in the Legacy mode. Read more here about locating menu items in the new navigation.

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.

  2. In the top menu, click Automations.

  3. To the right of the relevant workflow, click the three vertical dots.

  4. Click Edit.

  5. Click the automated message you'd like to edit.

  6. Make sure that all the relevant information in the fields is correct ("Name", "When the email should be sent?", etc.).

  7. Under the "How should the message be sent?" field, select Email.
    Note: A link URL can be added only for messages sent by email.

  8. Scroll down to the "Message Details" section and click the Insert/Edit link button (located below +Add Variable).

  9. In the pop-up window, you can set up your link:

    1. Add the URL link.

    2. Type in the “Text to Display”.

    3. Select whether the link will be opened in the Current window or New window.

  10. Click Save.
