Add or Update "Property Registration" or "License Number" for Your Vrbo Listing

If you already have a registration/license number, you can add it to your listing from your account. We recommend adding your number to the dedicated field in your account, rather than displaying it in the description of your property.

Adding the registration/license number in Guesty is optional. In Vrbo it is a requirement and must be updated directly on your Vrbo dashboard in order to publish your listings. Follow the instructions below to set up the registration/license requirements for a listing.

In Vrbo

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Vrbo account.
2. Select your listing if you have more than one property.
3. Select Local laws.
4. Review the Registration information section.
5. Add or update your registration details through the Update registration link. Your options will depend on the requirements in your area.
6. Select Edit registration and follow the steps.

In Guesty (Optional)

Step by step:

1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
2. In the top menu, click Listings.
3. Click the relevant listing.
   1. If the listing is a multi-unit, access the listing's main settings or click a sub-unit. Learn how to do this here.
4. In the Listing's menu, click Property.

5. Scroll down to "Property License" and enter the license number.

6. Click Save.
