How to refund a VCC payment with Booking.com?

The process for Virtual Credit Card (VCC) refunds works the same way as credit card refunds. Booking.com's VCC refund process provides you enough time to administer the refund, and will return the money to your guest once it's complete.

You can refund a payment made with a VCC on the Booking.com Extranet via the "Finance" tab or the "Reservations" tab.

Note:

If you charged the VCC in either of the following cases, you’ll need to refund the VCC via Booking.com:

  1. Waived the applicable fees when a reservation was canceled, modified, or a no-show.

  2. A reservation was canceled due to a Force Majeure event.

Step by step:

You can refund the VCC even if it has expired.
Under the "expiration date" field, enter the current month.
