Use this guide to help troubleshoot and understand some of the failed or error messages that you might see while importing your Airbnb listings into Guesty.

Access and syncing
Error Message: You do not have permission to access this resource.

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
- Click the sync icon to refresh the page.

If the listing is displayed: Click Import as per the usual process.

If the listing is no longer displayed: Make sure that the listing in Airbnb is listed, and then try to sync again.

Unavailable listing
Error Message: Unfortunately, this listing is no longer available.
|
This error message is accompanied by with status 404 (Not found) response and can have a few causes:
- The listing has been disconnected from Guesty.
- The listing has been duplicated.
- The data is unavailable in Airbnb, perhaps due to a bug.
Follow these steps to resolve this issue: Contact Airbnb's Support Team.

Invalid bed type

If you see this error message, the bed type configured in your Airbnb listing is not supported in Guesty.
Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
- Update the bed type in Airbnb by changing the sync settings to "Limited Sync".
- Import the listing again.

Missing photo, address, and/or bed
Error Message: To complete the import the listing must have: 1 or more beds.
Error Message: To complete the import the listing must have: (1) At least 1 photo. (2) A full address. (3) 1 or more beds. Once updated, click Failed > Retry. Error code: IMPORT_MINIMUM_REQUIREMENTS_NOT_SATISFIED

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
- Open a new tab or window, and sign in to your Airbnb account.
- Make sure the listing has at least 1 photo, a full address, and at least 1 bed.
- In Guesty, click Retry on the importing page.

Contact us if that does not resolve the issue.

Connected to a different API
Error Message: This listing is connected to a different API partner. Please be sure to reset your weekly and monthly discounts on your Airbnb account as changes may have been made to your account settings.

Follow these steps to resolve this issue: If you receive this error message, it means that you need to disconnect your listings from the old API before connecting them to Guesty.

Failed to import
Error Message: Failed to import please contact Guesty’s solution for more details.

Follow these steps to resolve this issue:
- Click Retry, and check if the error message changed to a different error message mentioned in this article.
- Follow the relevant instructions to resolve it.
- If the error message didn't change, contact us.

Changing the listing's address
Error Message: You can't change your listing's address once you've started receiving reservation requests. If you need to make an update, please contact support.

To help prevent fraud, Airbnb restricts changing an address once a listing has been published.
Follow these steps to resolve this issue: In these cases, you can contact Airbnb's Support Team.

Can't publish
Error Message: Your listing cannot be published at this time. Please contact customer support for more information.
|
During the importing and publishing processes, Airbnb may reject listings that don't comply with the listing policies.
Follow these steps to resolve this issue: Contact Airbnb's Support Team to identify the reason for this error message, and to resolve the issue. |
Low ratings
Error Message: Your listing is suspended due to low ratings.
