Auto Tasks are a great tool to help you manage your stay-related activities more efficiently. Once created, an Auto Task becomes a critical piece of your reservation’s life-cycle.
There are a few possible scenarios which may impact the successful creation of your auto-task:
- Your task is not displayed in the Task Smart Views under the Field Operations menu, because it is filtered out. Please refer to this article for more information. For example, your filter is set to show tasks that are scheduled for today, and your task is due on a different date.

- The conditions for the creation of the auto-task were not met, and therefore it is not created. For example - it was pending a reservation confirmation at a specific time frame, and the confirmation was received outside of that time frame.
- Your creation process is incomplete. You need to first create an Auto Task template, then create the Auto Task itself, and lastly set its automatic scheduling.
- Your task is linked to an Auto Task template which is deleted. Please refer to this article for more information.
- The Auto Task was deleted by one of the users.
