Add custom fonts to your website from the Google Fonts library or by uploading your own font files (TTF, OTF, EOT, or WOFF). Custom fonts help maintain brand consistency across your site.
To maintain GDPR compliance, Guesty loads custom fonts from our CDN rather than calling the Google Fonts API directly.
Before you begin
- Default fonts can't be removed from the fonts list.
- Saving a site as a template includes any custom fonts that have been added.
- Custom fonts are removed when you choose to reset a site.
Tip:
For the best performance and loading speeds, use WOFF or WOFF2 files when uploading custom font files.
Add custom fonts
Follow the steps below to add Google fonts or upload custom font files to your account.
- Access the font management menu from one of the following locations:
- In the side panel, click Theme, and then click Text. Expand the desired text section. Next to the font list, click the Add & Manage Fonts button.
- From the new text editor, click the fonts list and then click Manage Fonts.

- Choose one of the following options:
-
Google fonts: Select a font from the list. The font appears under "Added Google Fonts".
The list may already display fonts added to the template. It is recommended you do not remove the template fonts.
- Custom fonts: Click Upload fonts and select your font files. You can select multiple files at once.
-
- Click Done.
The font is added to the fonts list across the site. To see a list of the default fonts available, see the fonts library.
Note:
Adobe fonts don't appear in the fonts list. You need to add the font family to the code.
Remove custom fonts
Follow the steps below to remove fonts you previously added to your site.
- In the side panel, click Theme, and then click Text. Expand the text section that uses the custom font. Next to the font list, click the Add & Manage Fonts button.
Alternatively, click text anywhere in the site and at the top of the font list, click Manage Fonts. - Click the X next to the font you want to remove.
- If you remove a font currently in use, the site reverts to the browser's default font.
- If you remove a Google font, republish the site to apply the changes.
- If you remove an uploaded font, the changes apply immediately without republishing.
