Touch Stay

Touch Stay guidebooks deliver everything a host needs to streamline guest operations. It provides guests with everything they need to know before, during, and after their stay.

Copy the Guesty API key

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to your Guesty account.
  2. In the top navigation bar, click the icon drop-down menu and select Setup mode.
  3. Click Integrations, then select Marketplace.
  4. Search for "Touch Stay", then click Connect.
  5. At the top right click Connect.
  6. In the pop-up, copy the integration key.
  7. Click OK.


The API key is valid for 4 hours only, proceed to the below steps to connect the partner immediately.

Connect Touch Stay with Guesty

  1. Sign in to your Touch Stay account.
  2. Navigate to Account page > Integrations, and click Connect under the Guesty logo.
  3. Paste your Guesty Integration Token copied in the above steps into the box and click Save.
    1. If you are a Touch Stay user, you will be prompted to match your existing Guides with your Guesty listings imported into Touch Stay. Select the right Guesty listing for each Touch Stay guide and click Match Selected.
    2. The next step you will be prompted to is to Import Listings from Guesty.
      1. If you are new to Touch Stay these will be new listings. If you are an existing user, these will be additional listings to the ones matched before if Guesty has more listings live than Touch Stay.
    3. Select the listings you need to import and click Import selected. Touch Stay will import the following:
      1. Listing Name
      2. Listing Address
      3. Listing Location
  4. Each listing imported will create a new Touch Stay guide. In Guesty, for each imported listing on Touch Stay you will find a “Touch Stay” tag within the listing to help you set up your automated messages accordingly.
  5. Check the content of your guides.
  6. Once the content is validated, navigate to Integrations > Settings > Reservation Sync settings and sync your reservations. You will be able to sync all reservations (active reservations that haven’t been checked out) or only new ones (created from the moment the sync is enabled). The reservations synced will have a “Touch Stay guide URL” custom field created so it can be shared with guests - you can now include it in your automated messaging in Guesty!

Sharing Touch Stay guides with guests

In order to share the guides with your guests you must set up Automated Messages that include the code variable. Follow the steps below.

  1. Create or edit an automated message to send to guests based on reservation confirmation or check-in. See more information here.
    • Schedule at least 20 minutes after reservation confirmation to allow time for the variable to populate.
  2. In your message content, use the variable {{touchstay_guide_url}}. See more information here.
