Copy the Guesty API key
Step by step:
- Sign in to your Guesty account.
- In the top navigation bar, click
- Click Guesty Marketplace.
- Search for "hostAI" or "hostFront" and click Connect.
- At the top right click Connect.
- In the pop-up, copy the API key.
- Click OK.
Important:
The API token is valid for 4 hours only. Complete the following steps immediately to ensure a successful connection.
Create a Booking Engine API Instance
- In your Guesty account, go to Settings, select API Settings, and then select Booking Engine API.
- Click Add API Instance.
- Name the instance (e.g., “hostAI Integration”), and click Save.
- Find the new instance and click Show API Tokens.
- Copy the Client secret credentials and Client ID credentials.
Generate a restricted Stripe key
- Go to Stripe API Keys and log in if necessary.
- Enter a Key Name (e.g., hostAI Booking Flow).
- Scroll to the bottom of All Core Resources and enable Write permissions for the PaymentMethods and Tokens rows.
- Click Create Key at the bottom.
- Copy the Restricted Key (the key should start with rk_live) and send it to us.
Go live
- After onboarding:
- For hostAI: Activate your marketing tools and begin distributing content.
- For hostFront: Launch your optimized website.
- Test all features to ensure proper functionality.
