Enabling Notifications From Your Phone’s Settings

Your phone's settings will affect how notifications are received in the Guesty Mobile App.

Before you begin

Please see the following important information:

Android iPhone

  • Different modes, such as Work, Sleep, Personal, etcetera, may limit how notifications are received
  • Low Power Mode works differently on every phone, but some phones will also limit background app activity, possibly delaying notifications from being received
  • There is an option in "Developer Options" to limit the number of apps running in the background, which could force-close the Guesty app
  • On some phones, a "Deep Sleep" setting will prevent apps from running in the background

 

Enabling notifications on your device

Follow the instructions below to enable notifications for Guesty on your phone.

Step by step:

  1. Go to your device's settings.
  2. Find the Guesty app's settings.
  3. Tap Notifications.
  4. Turn the toggle on next to "Allow notifications".

Push Notifications

Step by step:

  1. Sign in to the Guesty Mobile App.
  2. From the menu, select Settings.
  3. Select Push Notifications.
  4. Select the notifications you wish to receive.
  5. Under "General Notifications", choose "Selected notifications".

Step by Step:

  1. Sign in to the Guesty Mobile App.
  2. From the menu, select Settings.
  3. Select General Notifications.
  4. Select the notifications you wish to receive.
